Panasonic’s P2 HD series is revolutionizing video production with its workflow efficiencies, versatility and reliability. Now joining the series is the new AG-HPX500, a shoulder-mounted P2 cam (Memory Card Camera-Recorder) for professional and Industrial use, with a 2/3" CCD and interchangeable lens system.

The AG-HPX502 can record in any of the HD and SD formats (1080i/720p/480i/576i) used in the world. And it features the variable frame rate function that earned wide acclaim in the VariCam and AG-HVX200, so you can add film-like effects as you record.

The AG-HPX502 delivers the superior reliability, mobility and advanced IT functions that P2 cameras are known for, and it adds outstanding cost-performance. The newest addition to the P2 HD family takes professional video another step further.

Variable frame rate feature (in 720p) allows film-like low-speed or high-speed shooting.
720p native mode achieves a speed effect without requiring additional equipment. A VariCam-compatible 720p over 60p mode is also provided.

Immediate playback from clip thumbnail displayed on built-in LCD monitor.
Shot marker can be added to each clip.
